Individual Arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Verbal or Written Assault

KICKAPOO TRIBE IN KANSAS – 07/23/2024 – Individual Arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Verbal or Written Assault

On July 23, 2024, at approximately 11:50 a.m., officers with the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas Police Department (KTIKPD) arrested an individual for Disorderly Conduct and Verbal or Written Assault at the individual's home on the Kickapoo Reservation.

At approximately 11:40 a.m., officers responded to the residence of Benjamin Dryer to return personal property. Upon arrival, Dryer became irate and made threatening statements towards one of the officers, prompting Dryer’s arrest for Disorderly Conduct as well as Written or Verbal Assault. Dryer was then transported to the Brown County Jail. No injuries were sustained during this interaction.
