INDIVIDUAL ARRESTED FOR DRUG DUI

KICKAPOO TRIBE IN KANSAS – 08/29/2024– INDIVIDUAL ARRESTED FOR DRUG DUI

            On 08/29/2024 at approximately 9:50am Bruce Davis was arrested on the 800 block of K20 Highway on the Kickapoo Reservation for Driving Under the Influence.

            At approximately 9:05am Davis arrived at the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas Police Department to advise present officers that he was going to be checking up on a friend who lives on the Reservation. Upon speaking with the officers, Davis’ behavior led them to investigate further which resulted in a traffic stop on the 800 Block of K20 Highway at approximately 9:11am.

            Upon conducting the Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST’s) as well as Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE) it was determined Davis showed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

            Davis was arrested at approximately 9:50am and transported to the Brown County Jail. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
